FREE Monthly Homeschool Gatherings!
Each month, we host a themed gathering for homeschool families to get together and connect.
Children are provided the opportunity to free-play with their peers at our play space while adults connect at the start.
Once we get started, the children will be invited to cycle through stations/activities that each family has brought.
Followed by more free-play at the end, of course.
Contribution in the form of a quality snack, craft, activity, experiment related to the theme OR a monetary suggested $10 per child donation is essential to maintain our community approach and to keep these events possible!
Ideas for contribution…
Bring & read a story — Bring & lead a craft — Plan & lead an experiment — Teach the kids a game — Bring a sensory activity — Set up a simple building or STEM challenge — Share something you know about the theme — Bring an interesting object, collection, or materials for the children to explore — Lead a movement or outdoor activity — Bring supplies for an open-ended creation station — Teach a simple skill — Come up with a challenge or scavenger hunt — OR come up with something completely your own!
And it does NOT have to be elaborate! A contribution can be as simple as bringing a favorite book to read aloud, putting out materials with a challenge for the kids to figure out, teaching a game you already know, or sharing something your family is interested in.
The goal is for everyone to bring a little something to the community so that, together, we create a really fun day of learning, playing & connecting!

For our annual April gathering, families each provide easter-egg fillers. Every child in attendance gets a designated egg/pattern.
While children play, parents work together to fill the eggs with the fillers. After, parents and children go outside for a short walk while I and 1-2 other parents hide all the eggs indoors. Children come inside and search for their eggs! They keep the treats, I keep and re-use the eggs! -
Gardening, Propagating, and Seedlings!
Ideas to bring…
Seeds — Dirt — plant to propagate — pots to decorate — planting activity — story book & craft — planting related snack/activity — science experiment — anything !

STEAM Time W/ Clover Exploration
Each month, students will engage in immersive STEAM experiences inspired by real-world making, experimentation, design, and discovery.
A special focus of this series is helping students learn how to use library resources in meaningful, exciting ways. Every session will feature a “Research & Inspiration Station” filled with library books related to the monthly theme. Students will be encouraged to browse books, gather inspiration, discover instructions, and use nonfiction resources as real creators, inventors, artists, engineers, and scientists do.
Registration not required, but helpful!
