Beyond the Box: Cardboard Innovation Lab

Fridays 4:30pm - 6:00pm I STEAM I Ages 6 - 12yrs

What can you create with a little cardboard and a BIG idea? Beyond the Box is a hands-on building club where young makers are invited to design, experiment, problem-solve, and bring their ideas to life!

Each week, kids will have access to ChompSaws, kid-friendly cardboard construction tools, building materials, and plenty of cardboard. Makers can take on guided projects and design challenges or venture “out of the box” to dream up creations entirely their own. From inventions and structures to creatures, games, vehicles, and whatever else they can imagine; there’s no limit to where their creativity can take them!!

Along the way, kids will build confidence using real tools, strengthen STEAM and problem-solving skills, practice planning and perseverance, and experience the satisfaction of turning an idea into something they can hold.

No building experience necessary, just bring your imagination!
